Bilateral concert at the Sala Ollin Yoliztli by the Popular Unity Day in Russia

The Foundation p.i.. Tchaikovsky presented next 3 November at 18 hrs. Silvestre Revueltas Hall in the Cultural Center Ollin Yoliztli, Concerto Soloists and Ensemble of Violas Mexico, with a program that includes selected works of Russian composers, and the premiere of the latest work by Mexican composer Alexis Aranda. This concert will take place under the Day of the People's Union of Russia.
The prolific Mexican composer, Alexis Aranda, will present three of his works, between them, the world premiere of “Benedict”, his first composition for soprano and piano, accompanied by the soprano and president of the Tchaikovsky Foundation, masha Soboleva. Another of his pieces, “I think”, It will be performed by Aranda in the company of Mtra. Milana Soboleva in Viola.
Violas Ensemble was formed in Mexico three years ago from Violas Workshop by Mtra. Felisa Hernández, and besides being a hotbed of talent, have been part of various events by the Foundation Tchaikovsky. This time, Ensemble musicians will perform pieces by Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Gliere y Glinka.
Include the debut solo violist Valeria Espinosa during this concert, and Julia Ortega, who will perform a duet for viola and piano.
Other talents will be the percussionist Gabriela Jimenez, who has already collaborated with the Foundation on projects with the Moscow Conservatory; besides the pianist Eduardo de Santiago and bass José Luis Reynoso.
